Dave Berry has been kind enough to convert a couple of the tunes we played supporting Tim O'Brien and Darrell Scott at the Boat Race gig. Initially you can hear our version of Blackberry blossom, Goldrush and Blackbirds and Crows.

You will need a copy of a MP3 player. My personal favorite MP3 player is
WinPlay3 for Windows
which allows you to stream the MP3 files.
The files are optimized for streaming over a 33.6 modem connection.
Although whenever I test them they just download into my temp folder. Perhaps anyone who successfully gets them to stream would let me know the trick as I think that it may be a local setting that drives what happens.
We are hoping to have some sessions in pubs around the Cambridge and Newmarket area but we don't have any likely pubs sorted yet. If you know of a suitable pub - good landlord, sufficient room and a music licence. leave me a message in the guest book.

Report - We had a great night. Tim was in good form and Darrell is playing and singing better than ever. The audience was very enthusiastic even the Radio Cowboys played better than we have done for some while.
I was blown away by Tims mandolin playing especially on their opening number Columbus Stockade Blues - where does he find those notes.
Tim Said of the Radio Cowboys "Of all of the English Bluegrass bands the Radio Cowboys are one of them"
The landlord is celebrating going full time and we will be playing as part of the festivities. This is a private party.
Report - probably the worst gig we have done. the Disco took up all the stage so we played on the floor! there was no heating and it was a cold night. the audience was standing and were really there to talk to each other which they did at a volune that made it impossible to hear each other play. We did a couple of sets, ate our roast pig and retired to Johns for tea.
Greg and I spent a week with some of the best teachers from the USA. I have done a short report of how it went and details of next year
Sore Fingers Bluegrass Course
Reasonable do Patty did some great Western Swing numbers supported by the Radio Cowboys.
